BREAKTHROUGH TECHNOLOGY
Is the Head of Technology of The Pi Network a rockstar?

For what it’s worth, developing the breakthrough technology is a feat in itself. It “works on your mobile phone and does not drain your battery.” It is decentralized, meaning, it is “secure, immutable, non-counterfeitable, and interoperable digital money. It has “easy to use security at scale, without the massive electrical waste.”
BETA STAGE
The Pi Network is currently in beta. But in its early stages it already takes pride in being at the forefront of the cryptocurrency revolution. Why not? It is the “first digital currency for everyday people, representing a major step forward in the adoption of cryptocurrency worldwide.” There are countless others which are trying to follow in the footsteps of the (in)famous Bitcoin but failed, or are failing miserably.
INNOVATORS
The Pi Core Team, headed by Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis, instructor of Stanford’s first decentralized applications class, rightfully deserves to either be the Wright Brothers or Henry Ford of our generation. Or in recent memory, either the Winklevoss Twins (Bitcoin rockstars) or Mark Zuckerberg. And countless others who came before or after them.
There are innovators. Like Eric Schmidt, Larry Page, and Sergey Brin of Google. Jeff Bezos of Amazon. Shigeru Miyamoto of Nintendo. Ray Ozzie of Microsoft. And –
There are those who just improve on “new ideas or ways of doing things.” But whatever category they belong to, they all make life easier, better. Imagine a world without the internet, telecommunications, aviation, cryptocurrency, among others.
When Steve Jobs introduced the first iPhone to the world, his peers relentlessly tried to come up with their own “iPhone.” But up until his demise, the iPhone was the gadget to beat. Regardless of both its flaws and ridiculously high price, it was the barometer for all the wannabes. Implicitly, iPhone 4s is THE ultimate phone Jobs had in mind. No other. He may be rolling in his grave now.
PI SAGA
So, is Nicolas a revolutionary, or an endgame hero?
It is of no moment. Those that preceded him were either. Or both. But they’re all rockstars in their own right.
Indeed, in 2019, there is an emerging rockstar in the world of digital currency.
It all depends now upon the conclusion of the Pi saga.
Perhaps not being able to take part in this history in the making is akin to missing out on Bitcoin.
